Another one of my favorites from 2007 - this one is sung by Alka and picturized on Ranbir and Rani from Saawariya. Rani Mukerji is one of the finest actresses in Bollywood today, even if she has gotten herself into a prostitute playing rut this year. Her face is so full of expression when she dances, it's nice to watch.

Note at the end when we get the hilarious change in camera angle and Rani is revealed to come up only to Ranbir's shoulder!! Ha ha ha!! (Can somebody fetch Ms. Mukerji's enourmous heeled shoes, please? Or maybe she needs to be cast opposite Aamir again.)

I wasn't a big fan of the Saawariya soundtrack over all - "Jab se tere naina" is okay, too, though. It was a really kind of a bland collection of songs, which might have been what SLB's new American overlords were looking for. Heaven knows that modern American 'musicals' feature the blandest and worst songs known to humanity.
