Yes, I love Eita. I also love winter sports movies. Imagine my delight when I found that Eita had made a movie where he plays a champion skiier! Giniro no Season does not disappoint on either front. Eita plays Shiroyama Gin (which using my super-translation skills means White Mountain Silver. Nice.) Gin is a ski bum and lives with his two dopey friends and they make a living scamming tourists.



So, when sweet and beautiful Nanami who has never seen snow before comes to town for her skiing wedding ceremony, you know that she will definitely be scammed by Gin! Of course!



After rescuing her after she slides down a bank of snow (for a price), he offers to give her skiing lessons for her wedding (for a steeper price).

While Giniro no Season will never replace The Cutting Edge as my favorite winter sports movie of all time, it's certainly a worthy entry into the genre.
