1. I just got back from seeing Mongol with
dangermousie and it was amazingly good! Asano Tadanobu is such a good actor.
2. There is an article on wikipedia about the Evil Twin. I like a good evil twin as much as the next person, but I think I prefer the Twins With Opposing Characteristics Theme better - like Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield or when Xander is split in two on Buffy.
3. Bollywooddc.com people! I want De Taali! Also, I want Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic this weekend. Okay?
4. I'm reading this excellent volume of Archie comics from the 1940s. Why do I like Reggie so much? I don't know.
5. I finished the first three episodes of Around 40 and I love it! Fujiki Naohito for the win! He plays this uptight guy who says things like, "It's not stinginess; I'm being ecologically minded." Ha ha ha!
I would like to fangirl about all of the above but my noodles are getting soggy and I have to watch episode 4 of Around 40.

I know, I know... this looks totally cheezy! Still, it's much more my style of movie than Sakaar Raj.
BBC LOVE BOLLYWOOD this weekend had a long interview with Aish and Abhi about Sakaar Raj and they were so serious about it! They talked about how they would all bring their characters home to the dinner table - which made me feel really sorry for Jaya-ji. (Plus, they seemed proud that there were no songs.)
There is a time and place for "serious" cinema, but 9 times out of 10, I'll take the based on Dawson's Creek film rather than the one about political corruption.
