Prem Kahani was filled with poetry. Here is a little ditty that I think is appropriate to describe my feelings about it:

Hens love roosters, geese love ganders, everyone else loves Ned FlandersRajesh Khanna...

NOT ME!

Oh, god, this was a tiring film. Rajesh Khanna's bloated super-star ego had EVERYONE in love with him. Screencaps and some teeny spoilers under here... )

And in conclusion:

Hera Pheri: Unsubtle Acting Gold

Big B

Ah, Hera Pheri, the tender story of two best friends who happen to be con artists - natty dressers with complicated social lives. Meet Vijay and Ajay! You know you are dying to see some awesome 70s fashions! )

I really loved the over the top camera work, too. The director did this great thing where the camera would cut really quickly between the two (or more) people who were supposed to be figuring something out or coming to some conclusion. And there were all these bizarre filming angles. Amit-ji was filmed from below a lot, which makes him look 10 feet tall.
